非常讚的離職告別郵件,So long, farewell IT

Hi all,

First please allow me to put your name in the bcc as I need to avoid the chance that anyone on the recipient list accidentally click the REPLY TO ALL button。

As some of you know, after having worked here for almost 4 years, I am leaving * today。

It has been a privilege to have a chance to join the team, working with, and learning from, you all。 There has been regular new initiatives, ongoing improvement and bringing in new ideas from what we learnt in this changing environment。 It is a productive, fun and enjoyable experience。 Thanks to all in the AP IT team and the OU teams。 The expectations and standards placed upon IT being a partner to support the business are becoming higher and higher – and so it is not an easy target to become high-quality IT practitioner no matter from which perspective you are looking at。 Thanks for all of you, it has been a pleasure working with you。

It has been a challenge to summarise my few years of work in a few days and to handover to a few colleagues。 Special thanks to those I have been working very closely with, in particular * and *。 Although three of us are located in three different offices, you are the one who let me have a chance to experience what it meant by true collaborative work in a virtual environment。 Communications are generally short, quick and most importantly effective, and there is covering of each other when there is workload workflow or when there is anyone who is away from workplace。 I am always surprised that how such a small team can support the 30+ workflows of AP Intranet, plus other applications and tasks。

Needless to say the gratitude to the development teams in Beijing。 We talked business in technical terms and talked technical contents in a non-technical way。

I hope you all the best in your work, having rewarding experience when you looked at all the days you‘ve spent with the company。

Though we say farewell, we don’t have to mean goodbye。 All the best to all of you。

Regards,
